COLOR SCANNING & IMAGE CORRECTION

To obtain the best-printed results, you must start with a complete scan of the entire image available to reproduce. Desktop scanning simply cannot capture the full amount of image data to the extent drum-scanning can. Drum scanners capture a dynamic range from your originals that flat beds cannot achieve. Shortcut and bargain basement providers at this critical stage can adversely affect the image quality of the entire project. T&R's experts not only capture the image color and feel that you are looking for, but take it a step further to ensure that the final materials (film, files and proofs) will make the print manufacturing phase match the proof.

  • High resolution scanning from originals with images up to 19-3/4" x 25-3/4" to final image sizes as large as 32" x 40" (800mb)
  • High-resolution image capture from three-dimensional or non-wrappable originals
  • Conversion and color correction of photo-CD and RGB images
  • Color enhancement and product match color corrections
  • Image retouching, multiple-image merging, image enhancement, and special effects
  • Color calibration for specific print applications and substrates
  • High-fidelity color and multi-color touch plates
  • Fine art reproduction for limited edition litho or Giclée prints
